Suggestion to the HA team for the next gen antennas…
Been an HE person for the last few years and am upping my game converting over to HA and it’s been surprisingly smoother than expected. Thanks to all the people providing helpful information to get things running smoothly.
So, to get the best ZW and ZB coverage I went with the ZBT-2 and ZWA-2 antennas. While they look nice, they are a tad big and do stick out a bit (I know RF and that the length is needed to maximize performance). And for good performance you also need to keep them exposed so it’s tough to hide them or help them fit into any decoration scheme (as my wife pointed out, and as we all know WAF is very important while creating home automation systems 
). She made an interesting suggestion that was pretty good… could the antennas be made to look like candles? The LED tip could be shaped like a flame, and could even make it flicker like a flame, too. That’d be a lot easier to blend into any decorations.
Food for thought for ZBT-3 and ZHA-3.
