Neither of them worked. I replaced cam-name with my camera, in this case it is called Garage. Also, I tried both my Wyze credentials as well as HA credentials in the user name and pw. Should it be something else?
Also, and maybe this is related, in the docker-wyze-bridge add on, when I go to the Web UI, I only get a few cameras and they don’t update. The rest say preview not available. Any ideas?
Thanks. Unfortunately that is only for Version 3 cameras and mine are all V2. I did some more checking to see if there is a release for V2, but it doesn’t look like it per this.
So I’m probably going to have keep trying to get docker-wyze-bridge and Generic Camera to work. Hopefully I’m close, but don’t know what else to try.
If so, another possible options being to flash an open source firmware onto your Wyze, so that it would become local and private, without the need of any Wyze account nor Wyze cloud.

That said, and back to your question: To use Generic Camera integration, your Wyze will need to have / turn on / setup RTSP protocol on each of the cameras.
… and I recall Wyze specifically offer “experimental” firmware for RTSP, at least at one point, alternatively to their stock/default firmware. And that was why we have those “rtsp firmware” floating around, just like what vic mentioned under post #2.
In other words, out of the box, the RTSP feature is not available on stock Wyze cams.
Meaning, if you have not loaded the RTSP firmware onto your Wyze, it’s likely the reason why the Generic Camera integration would not work.
(The username & password fields would need info coming from your RTSP setup in each camera.)
And I guess that was why over the years people have those customized Wyze firmware projects… Thingino being the most active one these days.
