I just recently started with Home Assistant (Raspberry Pi 3+ with Hass.io), before I was a Home Center 2 user for almost 5 years.
When I did my first Home Assistant experiment a few weeks ago I used the Fibaro Integration for testing, which worked great. Since Fibaros Alexa Skill is quite … underwhelming to say at least, I was quite surprised that even my motion sensors (Fibaro Motion sensors) showed up in Alexa (I’m using Nabu Casa) and were ready to use in routines.
In the last weeks I migrated all my Z-Wave devices to Home Assistant with the help of an Aeotec 5th Generation Z-Wave stick. Altough everything works fine I’m quite surprised that my Motion Sensors can’t be used in Routines anymore. They show up in the Alexa app with their ID but the device typen now is just “Other”.
Any idea on how I can fix this? I would really like to use my motion sensors as triggers for routines.
Any help would be much appreciated.
