My eight year old finds it easier to get out of bed in the morning with a podcast so I created an add on which downloads the BBC show Newsround every day, converts it to mp3 and then copies it to my media folder.
An automation fires off the download each morning then plays it on a Google Home speaker.
The add on will work with any BBC TV or radio show and will grab the latest episode, although it’s UK only since the BBC do a geo-check.
