Getting a heat meter reading using Nibe GW with VVM 500

Hello everyone,

I’m trying to read the heat meter values from my Nibe VVM 500 heat pump using a Prodino, integrated via Nibe GW into Home Assistant.

The integration itself seems to work, but for some reason the heat output value I’m reading is always 0.00 kW. Because of this, I can’t calculate the COP of my system, as the thermal output is missing.

Has anyone experienced this before or knows:

  • whether the VVM 500 actually provides this value via Nibe GW?
  • if there’s a specific register or configuration that needs to be enabled?
  • or if there’s an alternative way to calculate or estimate the COP with the available data?

Any hints or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot!
