I went through all the steps in the walkthrough to add my Nest thermostat to HA and the very last step for linking accounts I get this:
“Access blocked: home-assistant.io has not completed the Google verification process”
Along with a 403 access denied snippet. No buttons or links like is shown in the troubleshooting section.
I had no other google items installed so no other credentials listed when I checked just to be sure. Anyone have any ideas? I’ve seen a few others have/had this, but either no response for help or they didn’t say how they fixed it.
Replying to my own post - this was fixed by adding a test user in the o-auth dashboard. Would be nice to add this step to the setup guide.
Anyway, went through all this and it seems to have worked, but damned if I can see the thermostat or integration or device or entity in the dashboard. Any ideas on this bit?
Well that was fun. I ended up deleting the O-Auth token and recreating it. Then deleted the credentials that managed to make it into HA even though it failed to hook completely up. And then stepped back through everything copying info that I created before and voila! Finally got this thing installed. Good times.
