Getting High and Low readings for a temperature sensor

I have a number of temperature sensors and I’d like to show current, high , and low readings for each sensor. The high and low could be ‘since midnight’ or past 24 hours.

Is this possible and, if so, how?

Show, as in the dashboard? You can select this in the statistics card.

To be clear, I’d like to have those values as entities, if possible. Show wasn’t really what I meant.

There are a lot of possible paths to get to that…

Trigger-based Template Sensor

Statistics sensor

Periodic Min/Max custom integration

SQL sensor

Trigger-based Template sensor with SQL Query action

… the one that is best for your use depends on your needs and abilities.

There are a number of old threads covering similar topics.

Minimum value: min - Home Assistant and Maximum value: max - Home Assistant

Thank you both. I was searching for high/low, not min/max. Lots of hits now.

I’ve settled on using the Statistics integration to get the Min/Max for the last 24 hours and that is working well. Now I’d like to get when that was for each of those entities. In reading, it appears that I need to get the state.last_changed but I’m not sure of that and I don’t know how to display that. I’m looking at using Ltek’s Easy Entity Card Styler Card but I can’t seem to get the syntax right.

Thanks @Ltek for your reply but it looks like it has been deleted for some reason.

I’ll study your guidance and come back with more questions, I’m sure.

DM me if you need help or post in the Easy Entity Styler thread. Sad that it was removed for no reason other than people who dont like me posting - even when I’m answering your ask for help.
