Getting play status from FireTV

When I’m playing on my Echo devices, I get updates in the status of the Alexa Media Player entities. However, when I’m doing anything on my FireTV cube, I dont…

Is this intended/expected? Is something wrong in my setup? Any way to get status from the FireTV devices?

Alexa Media Player integration and the Android TV integration both support Firetv devices well. I use the Android TV integration on both my Omni and my Cube

Hmm… I’m definitely getting some unreliable behaviour from the Alexa Media Player integration (it does intermittently pick up the pause status)

I’ll check out the Android TV integration - never occurred to me that would work
