Glances integration without password ok - with username and password failing to integrate with H.A

I’ve setup Glances on two instances: a Pi and an Odroid
First running as default configured
H.A. Glances integration works ok for both configs.
As soon a i change one Glances config and supply it a username/pw , change the setup in HA to use this username/pw it no longer wants to connect work with H.A.
Using the server to monitor from “any” client -it asks for username / password as supposed to do - Glances works ok. So the config and the client - server communication is ok.
Looks like H.A Glances integration does not work if configured with username/password.
When delete the password file on the failing Glances server - the H.A, integrations does work again.
Seeing also other attempts on Github and here reported simular behaviour.
Github topics were closed without further research.
Currently running ha 2024.3.0
Before running into a dead on and reporting this again - is anyone able to run this Glances integration using a username/password in the connectivity ?

Does it mean the Glances integration does not work using HA when the server has been setup to use a username/password ?

Looks like no one is experiencing the same ? Where in Github simular is reported but closed on timeout as no one responded / was able to look into the codestream.
Running to conclude: wrong place / or / this makes Glances nice for online but not useable linked with H.A. on a secure way…

Hi, I am also facing the same issue. Mine Glances integration isnt working for a remote server , whatever values I give. How is it working for you without username/password. I get an error “Failed to connect” , any hints?
