Hi,
i have a little “problem” with the power consumption of my Home Assistant installation (Proxmox) on an GMKTec G3 N100 16Gb. I am using the Ethernet connection and onboard Bluetooth (C-States enabled). I have an idle power consumption between 10 - 11 watts. According to my feeling it is a way to high compared to other users with an N100 Mini Pc.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can reduce the power consumption further?
I am grateful for any answers and help!
Thanks,
Bansnip
Here, try this.
FYI, 10-11 watts average is quite low. I’m running mine on an i7 which averages exactly twice that amount (with powersave
enabled)

Thank you man! It immediately went down to 8.4 watts. Does anyone else have any suggestions? Some people manage 7 watts.
The only other power saving option I applied was disabling the BT & WiFi radios. I don’t think you can do that if you’re using BT since they’re using the same chip.
8.4w is a 20% decrease in consumption. I would take the win and be happy with it.
