Just added a smart garage controler using Smart life and google home will close the door but when you ask it to open it asks for a security code which i have not set and cant seem to find where you can set it are alter it any help would be appreciated.

read all the documentation that came with the device and it does not say set a code . installed with smart life app and cant find a security code setting on the app

I don’t see what this has to do with home assistant then. I said read the “cover” documentation as in, the documentation that handles the “cover component” in home assistant.
If you’re not using home assistant, then this is the wrong website. This website isn’t for general Google assistant help.
