Google Calendar getting error 400: invalid_request durning setup

I have been trying to get Google Calendar integration setup in HAOS. I have setup Google console and discribed in the documentation [Google Calendar - Home Assistant](https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/google/)
that did not work, I have re-created new project in Google console using different urls. I used https://my.home-assistant.io/redirect/oauth and also my Nabu Casa url, all of which have not worked. I just keep getting the 400: invalid_request error. The following is what I got after searching for a solution

400 invalid_request
If you get an error that says “400 invalid_request” or “Access blocked, it means the app sent an invalid request.” The app uses an authorization method that Google doesn’t allow.

Google has safe ways for you to sign in and share your Google Account data with third-party apps and services. To help protect your account, Google blocks apps that could put your account at risk.

What can you do about this error?
Only the third-party developer can fix this issue. To report the error, contact the developer directly.

.
Home Assistant is listed in my third-party apps in Google.
I’m running HAOS version 2025.6.3 in a vm on Proxomx .
I have been at this for days any help would be very appreciated.

Same here - I initially thought it was because I had old credentials stored in HA but removing them makes no difference…
