Google calendar - local copy for offline resilience?

Hello!

I am thinking about moving most of my time- triggered automations into calendar-based triggers

I want to use Google Calendar, for ease of editing by anyone.

But it seems that the Google calendar integration is --strictly-- cloud dependent.
I just tried it, I blocked the Internet to HA and all the events disappeared immediately.

Can there be an offline copy of the day? A cache of some sort? So in the case of intermittent disruptions, the events still exist and fire automations?
Is this already the case, and I am wrong about the current function?

I ask cuz I want to use Gcal, but I want it to run locally, all at once

Thanks for everything you all do here!

I have a lot of automations that depend on google calendar events. I didnt realize it had no local caching until my fiber connection got cut. Would be great if it continued to work from local copy in the event the server can’t be reached
