I’ve recently got a pixel watch 3 and its sending a bunch of stats via the companion app sensors into home assistant, such as steps, heart rate, distance etc.
One thing thats not working is blood oxygen level. This is stuck at ‘unknown’.
It only recently seems to have been working (at all) as there was a known issue with this on the google forums. However, the last couple of days I’ve started getting sp02 data in the google health app on the phone, so I am unsure why HA isnt getting this ONE sensor.
I’ve checked all the permissions, both in the health connect privacy settings and the companion app manage sensors, and everything is enabled. I’ve toggled them on and off, re-enabled them, and still no data in the HA sensor.
Do you think this is connected to the original SP02 bug that google ? Or a bug in the companion app ?
I can see historic threads were HA was getting this data before…
If its relevant, phone is a pixel 8 running android 17.
