Google Nest Newby Config Stuck

Hi, I've followed the instructions for adding Google Nest integration to HA on a RP4. They are not perfect as the google cloud pages have changed slightly but they still have mostly the same info. I'm using tailscale because I already use tailscale in general. I have tailscale installed under the HAOS. I have a tailscale public url https://homeassistant.----.ts.net that prompts for a login and successfully opens my HA page in an incognito browser. So in google cloud I used https://homeassistant.----.ts.net/redirect/oauth for my redirect uri.

During setup I enter my google cloud project id and device access project id. Then I get a google page that says can't connect to LakeHouse, etc. The troubleshooting suggestions don't cover this error. I'm at a loss as to what my problem is. And I don't understand much of the google cloud stuff so I don't know how to test it. I did not get any errors while going through the cloud application setup.

I finally go it! Woohoo! Turned out I had some bad application credentials that were stopping google from responding. I had other problems with my redirect uri as well but one I started getting responses from google during the install process then the rest was easier. I had set up tailscale funnel but fact is I don't think it had anything to do with it. In the end I used the biog standard uri for the redirect.
