Google TTS in Canadian French

Hi all,

It appears only French is supported by HA even if Google provides Canadian French. Is there a workaround to enable Canadian French? If not, will it be eventually supported by HA?

One workaround I see is using my Google cloud account and use my API to handle TTS. However, I don’t see where I could replace Home assistant token with mine.

I guess the only alternative would be to register to AWS and use Polly.

Anyone can chime in? I’d really be grateful if anyone could help!

I signed up to AWS and achieved have Polly waking up and notify my Google Home.

I would however prefer to use Google TTS instead of that workaround.

Also, I need to find out a way to make the voice louder so notifications can be heard at the same volume as GH voice.
