Hi all,
I have made a Google Weather API integration:
A Home Assistant integration for the Google Weather API
This creates a weather entity, observational sensors and binary sensors for alerts.
This utilises the Google Maps API key which must be setup in the Google Developer’s Portal.
Google offer 10000 free api calls/month so I have tried to optimise this to keep under that. If you go over it’s about $0.20 per 1000 calls.
I hope someone finds this useful.

Oh no!
I also have an upgraded BoM one which works better for me.
An upgraded BoM integration that simplifies weather, sensors, warnings and forecasts.
Did you spend a $100million writing it? Contact BoM - the minister is giving them a hard time, and they may be willing to hire coders to do upgrades for cheaper…

Yes, it was about $1.5 trillion, well within the BoM budget.

BoM budget
You mean taxpayer budget? It’s not just the farmers that are unhappy, so is the minister.

It appears this integration is far more complete than what HA added in 2025.12
