Hi,

I have moved across to the GPSLogger Integration, followed the instructions to get the new webhook url, I get a successful response from GPSLogger App but there is no Device Tracker added for my device

Are you sure you have the headers and method set correctly?

Where do you see that GPSLogger was successful?

This is the success when you input the URL it will test to make sure it can connect to the endpoint

Check known_devices.yaml file.

Nope nothing in there just to be clear I had this working prior to the change to the integrated component

Anything in the logs upon connection/report? If not turn on debugging and try to connect again.

Have you forced a request from the app? It’s like the last sentence of the documentations

For me it sounds this is needed to initially populate the known_devices.yaml

There is literally nowhere in the App I can see where you send this request?

hit stop logging and start logging again

Yeah have done that I will just start from the top and try again, the webhook tokens are so long maybe I mis-typed a character

I copy the token to myself in Telegram so I can copy/paste it in

I have restarted the process and I’m still getting received message from unregistered webhook no idea where to go from here

It is working now didn’t change anything so not sure what happened there but its working.

I had a similar issue and found that I had left the configuration.yaml settings in.

device_tracker:
  - platform: gpslogger

Once I removed that and rebooted HA I stopped and restarted the GPSLogger app.
It then started working and I had a new device in my GPSLogger integration section.
