Anybody have updates on the new revision launch (since we are now in early Feb 2026)? I want to get a bluetooth proxy setup, but not sure if I’d be better off waiting a bit or just going with v1.2.
Also interested into the BLE proxy W5500 setup for Home Assistant. Out of stock now but backorder delivery in the USA. I hope it’s also come available end of February from the Germany warehouse because I’m living into the Netherlands.
The page for this v1.2 model was down yesterday for me, and today it’s back up, along with ‘changes’? → I don’t remember the “Early Build” callouts being there before. I should probably WayBackMachine check it… but too lazy If this is the case… maybe that means progress in the background?
That Early Bird flag was there before. I’m not seeing any obvious changes to that page from the last time I checked it. It does look like they will be back in stock in the US warehouse on March 2 though.
Ordered on 2/7 from Seed Studio and received a “v1.2” on 2/18. Working great using the ready-made code. Looks like updated PCB as I see no jumpers etc. I’m using POE so no idea on the wifi.
It’s on back order, but you can still order it. I just clicked the Back Order button on the Seeed web site, and it happily put it in my cart. This could just as easily be a supply chain problem with memory as anything else.
I want to use these for bermuda - I’m at my wits end with trying to get wifi esp’s to work reliably - some don’t work at all, some seem to work - but be flaky etc.
Anyone with experience with this have advice on how many to cover a 4br house?
Anyone have the aliexpress link - was unable to find, shipping to Australia from the seeed site is harsh.
Similar story here. I replaced several Olimex ESP32 POE devices with the SEEED XIAO W5500 Ethernet Adapter devices (v1.2), and the range and reliability have been better than the devices I was previously using. Plus, it was nice not having to mess with finding a specific case and antenna - the Seeed device had everything needed out of the box.
