Grok integration and Micrphones question (voice commands)

Noobie, 1st post here

  1. is it possible to integrate Grok to HA for voice conversation, meaning for grok to be my AI on speaker at home ?

  2. I’ve got Alexa spesakers everywhere in the house, if I want to speak to Home Assistant own voice system or GROK, may I do it through Alexa speakers or the only thing ECHO speakers allow are using ALexa Voice recognition to send Home Assistant some commands ?

1.So, grok3 with web search isn’t available through the API yet, so it’s not really useful. You can use services like OpenRouter (and any custom conversation integration) to get access to the beta version.

There is also a fork of conversation integration for grok. You can read the step-by-step guide here if you are not familiar with this side of HA yet.

The third version is available via api now. The price for grok-3-mini-beta is is reasonable($0.30 /$0.50 ), comparable to DS-V3
