Group Association for Switch

I have a Zooz Remote Switch ZEN34 v1 that I would like to use to control another light switch. Basically the button is for the bottom of the stairs and the switch is at the top of the stairs. The documentation says it supports group 2 (ON/OFF) association for up to 10 devices

The switch at the top of the stairs is a Leviton DZ15S and says it supports group association also

Using JS UI I have created a new group for the Zooz Button that uses the On/Off group to control the Top of Stairs switch

But nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong? Am I not understanding how this works or maybe they dont support the features I am using?

Figured it out. both devices must be on the same security level. My one switch does not support encryption so i had to add the Zooz scene switch with no encryption. Works like a charm now!!
