Group property to ‘always update’

Currently, with device groups, if the group state is currently on, turning on another device within the group doesn’t trigger a state change/update and therefore can’t be used to restart an automation timer.

My use case is this. I have a hot water circulation pump that is triggered on for 30 mins whenever a shower light is turned on. For a single user, this works fine now, but if multiple people start a shower, the pump shuts off 30 mins after the first user started, regardless of when the second user started. I want the shower light group to be able to retrigger the timer anytime a member light is turned on.

I turn on my re-circulation pump on my hot water for five minutes every 1/2 hour during the day. This minimizes the wasted water and solves the multiple trigger problem. Water pressure is not an issue and this method eliminates the 30 minute run time when someone just uses the bathroom. There are 3 recirculation points in the system so I hit all my bathrooms and faucets when I warm up the water. I also have it circulate at night when it gets very cold outside (< 10F)

Hope this helps
