I recently setup an SLZB-06MU POE Zigbee coordinator and set it up with z2m. I then migrated my Hue bulbs from the Hue Hub to z2m, set the transition setting on the bulbs to 1 second and the fade transition works just like it did on the Hue hub. The problem is then recreated my groups and cannot find anywhere in the frontend to set a transition time on the group. If I control the individual bulbs the transition fade works, if I change it with the group its instant.
I tried adding the transition setting to the group in configuration.yaml but when I restart z2m to pickup the change it removes the setting as it seems to rebuild the configuration.yaml with the frontend settings as a source of truth every time it restarts. Is there any way to get the transition fade work with the group?
