(New to the forum. I don’t know if this is the right place for this but I couldn’t find anywhere that was Thanks to admin for moving it.)
(This is not to do with HA, it relates to the software provided with my solar panels.)
I’ve just had solar panels installed and they come with a Growatt SPH5000 inverter that has software that I’m finding pretty impenetrable (I assume it was written in China) with tooltips like
For my own use I’m going to reformat them into something more readable so I thought I’d share them somewhere.
Load First
When the hybrid inverter is working in this mode, the inverter controls the battery charge and discharge according to the amount of power that is fed back to the grid and taken from the grid.
When there is electricity to be fed back to the grid, the inverter uses some of the electricity to charge the battery, reducing the power supply back to the grid; when there is power from the grid, the inverter regulates the battery discharge and reduces the power consumption from the grid.
When the inverter operates in the load priority prohibition mode, the inverter does not respond to changes in the amount of power fed back to the grid and from the grid, maintaining battery power and entering other priority modes.Load priority prohibition mode is not available.

When there is electricity to be fed back to the grid, the hybrid inverter adjusts this part of the electricity to charge the battery, reducing the power supply back to the grid.
