Connecting my Growatt MOD TL3-X inverter to Hass via modbus, involved quite a lot of googling, which gave often conflicting, very limited, or just incorrect examples.
So I decided to do a write up of what components I bought, how I wired everything together. Of course accompanied with a tested Esphome config, with correct home assistant parameters/icons and references to the documentation of modbus registers in the readme.
