Growatt Mod bus

Hi there,

I have a Growatt MIC 1000TL-X (1-fase, DC Switch, 1000W) and found multiple ways to connect it to Home assistant.

But since there a lot of projects i don’t really know where to look.

i want to do the following :

  1. Using Home wizzard P1 Meter to check the power
  2. Check if the solar panels are giving back to the grid
  3. Power down the growatt

Thank you for the help.

Tried Solax ?

And not sure if you have a shine-wifi module?
That one can be used for ModBus as well

Thanks for the reply , i currently have a RS485 to USB cable but i couldnt get it to work inside HA.

The Solax integration should support serial over usb too

(but haven’t tried it, as i don’t have a usb port available).

And before i re-flashed my ShineWifiX module, i used an Elfin-EW11 TCP/IP Telnet Modbus TCP Data Transfer Converter https://a.aliexpress.com/_EGsHEqi

I bought the shine-wilan-x2 and got it connected to home-assistant without a problem thanks a lot.
