HA can't find WLED

Hi all!

I thougt to had a good idea to buy a WLED and connect it to the smart doorbell to create some light effects when someone is entering or ringing. Not necessary, but only because it’s possible

I bought a Athom WLED controller, powersupply and a WLED. It’s all working fine, I can acces it by phone and laptop, but HA is not able to find it :frowning:

My setup: Router → Archer C7 Modem (WiFi off) → Deco X10 → HA connected by cable, all other devices using the WiFi from the Deco X10. HA can find every single device without problems (switch, lights, sensors, sockets, P1, etc) but it can’t find the WLED. Normally it should find it by itself, that doesn’t happen. If I want to add the WLED manualy, then I receive the message: Unknown error occured.

HA running on RaspPi3, Core version 2024.10.1, Operating system 12.4 (need to update, but should work also in this version). WLED controller Athom LS-4P

Anyone any idea how I can get this working?

I have the same problem

What version of WLED is your controller running? Recently (a few months ago), HA started requiring a minimum version for the integration.

I have 0.1.0-b1

Is that enough?

Do you have the same controller?

Just a tad old…

This integration requires a WLED device running WLED 0.14.0 or newer.
