This appears to be a new issue: I can no longer delete old backups from HA under Core 2025.11.0
I display the list of “My Backups”, then click on the three dots next to the backup I wish to delete, then select ‘Delete’ from the drop-down menu, and…nothing happens. No verification dialog box and no deletion.
Any ideas why this is happening now?
Thanks!

For anyone else running into this (!and panicking!), here is a thread on Github stating a fix is in the works for the next release (after 2025.11.1) and some work arounds:
opened 06:36AM - 06 Nov 25 UTC
integration: backup
### The problem
1. When I want to download a backup, it shows me a message that… the encryption key is different than the one saved. I didn't change anything. It applies to both - old and new backups. It has never appeared before - I download a backup with every update.
2. When I disable the encryption of backups on the sd card, I can't download the backup at all - nothing happens after clicking "download". I don't know if the problem appeared with this update or if it was already there.
3. The text showing the estimated size of the backup is very wrong - it estimates over 900 mb but it is about 150 mb.
4. A single backup cannot be deleted. You can use the option to select many (then select one or more) and delete - this option it works.

Looks like there wasnt a fix yet in 2005.11.1
The only way to delete a backup is to press multiselect, then select one backup and click delete in the red icon up.

Was facing the same issue. Came here and got satisfied. Multiselection is the answer. Only if you want to delete just one backup.
Thank you!

Its a bug.
Choose multiselect, then choose the one you want to delete and then top right the icon for delete.
