Ha crash, what are my options?

Hello,
Like many before me and more after, i belive my SD card crashed.
After 2 weeks i think i've done my mourning and i am ready to act about it...

I'm a bit lost as to what to do exactly in my situation so restart from scratch is the only path i fully understand even though it's tedious.
You may be able to help me save time as all hope is not lost. Here is the situation :
After a reboot home assistant stopped working.

->On port :4357, i got the supervisor disconnected message.
->With HDMI i have only the emergency console.
-> I am on MAC, and can't find how to read the cheap 32GB sd card that lead to that disaster... So i used windows and diskInternals and i was able to see 8 partitions of which i copyed the -data, -hassos-boot and -systemd (maybe logs aswell not sure). Other partitions, i couldn't read.

I found a -data/supervisor/backup folder with actual usable backup, but it was too old to be of much interest.

My question is even though i have no proper back up, what files should i copy to my new HA instal to try to recover? How to copy thoose files as i can only read with diskinternals...

I would really enjoy to not have to reconnect all the zigbee sensor ect and to recover the temps history data ....

Thanks a lot for any help

There must be a way to mount and read etx4 drives in mac, I have no idea as I never use mac.

You could always boot into a live distro of Linux, that will give you full access, pretty sure that will work on a Mac.

I can't confirm which folders to copy, someone will be along any second now with the answer. But I do know you can copy certain folders. This is what the backup does. It may be the config folder and the addons folder, make sure you also copy all the hidden files.

The ENTIRE contents of config, (where your configuration.yaml lives) including any hidden (.FOO) folder structures. That's literally what backup does. - tar balls that into an archive… )

Config folder has it all.

Thanks, i installed linux system on // desktop and i can now write / read my home assistant sd card.

So i copied all the homeassistant folder where i found a confuguration.yaml file.

At first i thought it was kind of working ( see bottom section ) but then i realised i was using the old useless backup… I copied everything and the onlything i got back is my scripts ….

Do you have any clue what i should do ?

Thanks again for any help

I did copy the homeassistant folder where the configuration.yaml files was.
I now have all my MQTT integration, except they do not work and stay unavailable. It is as if my home assistant can't properly use the sonoff zigbee dongle....
MQTT.
I can't reinstall the mqtt integration as it says i can only have one ...

My first post only for records…
