HA DNS error log

Can anyone help me decode this error. There are lots of them in the DNS log

[INFO] 172.30.32.1:59878 - 52504 “PTR IN 237.4.168.192.in-addr.arpa. udp 44 false 512” SERVFAIL qr,aa,ra 44 0.000147501s

172.30.32.1 is an internal IP
237.4.168.192 cant be resolved by whois but remarkably appears to be a reversal of an internal ip address - not assigned

I would suspect an integration or add-on not fully configured - but - where to start ?

It’s 237.4.168.192.in-addr.arpa., a “domain name” used for the reverse (i.e. IP-to-name) lookup on 192.168.4.237. It looks like your system is trying to do a reverse lookup on that 192.x IP address for whatever reason.

Not sure about the SERVFAIL. Do you have a command line on this system?

SERVFAIL means the server refused to reply to the request, which often makes sense, b cause not many have the reverse DNS entries configured.
