I’m using Home Assistant with VirtualBox and I installed the update that came out today (I don’t know if it was today or which version). After that, Home Assistant stopped working. I was accessing it from “http://homeassistant.local:8123/” but now the page won’t load. I tried restarting VirtualBox. It didn’t work. Also, I’m not sure if I’m posting this in the right place. I’m new here. If so, I apologize.

PS: was there other Updates in you GUI when you clicked first time update before ? like “Supervisor” ? …
I restarted after a successful “core update”. It appears to have updated from 2026.1.1 to 2026.1.2. And yes, if I remember correctly, there were updates available for ESPHome and a Zigbee device.

have you tried now to access both the ha-ip and ha.local address from laptop and what ever devices you have on your local-lan
Neither ha local nor ha-ip is working on any of my devices right now. The page won’t load.

Thank you for your interest and patience, but here’s the problem: everything seems fine. I get no error messages in my browser; the page simply won’t load. However, when I try to log in using the “cloud” from my phone, I get an error message as if VirtualBox is closed. You saw the command prompt.

no i have not seen any such error message, and what do you mean " saw the prompt " ?, which prompt ?
So now i know you have cloud-access not working either(how did you manage to configure cloud-access ? ) . I assume you know the diffrent ways of connecting ?
also Perform the Ping, as i mention above, from either a windows machine, or other local device … That will reveal whether your VB is “Closed” whatever you mean with this ![]()
What is the error from your browser?
Make sure you use http:// and not httpS://
He says No Error, just “wont load”
