HA gets disconnected from the IP and not responding untill reset

Hello
I have the latest Proxmox and HAOS - 9.11 and 17 (updated yesterday).
I gets disconnected from HA every several hours.
I have HAOS on VM on Proxmox.
Other machines working fine (windows server 2022 and windows 11 pro).
The HA sits on Vlan40 and I did all the settings to get it to work. The machines are on Vlan10. The port is trunk from physical nic on Dell R620 server to trunk on the switch.
The IP is static and saved on the router so no one gets it, only this VM by it’s mac address.
What to do? I need to do reset to the VM and after that it works to more 2 hours and that it.
When I checked ping when the HA id down, also the ping down it’s not conflict.

Server: nic0, on Dell R620 poweredge
Switch: TP-Link sg2210p (trunk to the router and trunk to the server)
Router: TP-Link er605

I’m new to HA only week into it, please help

Honestly, this is a loaded issue. There’s many factors involved that could be the cause. For example - where do you reside? Who is your ISP? Are you only accessing HA locally or did you setup external access? These questions will help determine your NAT situation, because you could be experiencing double NAT’s if the ISP is using CGNAT and you are using a router behind the modem. The router might be routing initially for the couple of hours, but slams the door shut once the modem tells it to piss off, so-to-speak. If this is the case, you’ll need to do something like cloudflare tunneling to keep the “door open” for external access and depending on your router’s capabilities, you could force a local domain on HA’s IP address for local access.

Or maybe it’s something else entirely. You mentioned vlans. That brings another level of complexity to your situation/routing.

Or maybe your hardware is reaching its limits and crashes, since you’re running HA on a VM depending on how much RAM you allocated it and what other services you are running on Proxmox.

So much going on. Without any type of log input, it’ll be difficult to pinpoint and your only option from there is process of elimination.

How to give you log from where?
About vlans and isp - I don’t connect to external connection like vpn or something, for now it’s local. I have windows server VM and I assigned the HA IP to DNS from there for your suggestion about domain name. It’s not helping because you can’t reach the IP so it’s useless when it down.

The other VM works, also suddenly I have loosing connection to the DNS server on the windows server VM… And it’s back after a minute.
It’s may be disk problem? I have 2 sad 300 gb each in raid the puts together both to one big 600 disk.
The server like I said is Dell R620 - enterprise server with 96 gb ddr3 ecc installed on it.
The Windows server has 32 ram, the HA has I think about 8-16 ram

What to check? What do you need to help me? Which log? From where?
Thanks.

HA is designed to work on a flat network. So the HA server and all the things it talks to should be on the same VLAN.

If you want to do otherwise, you have to make sure ALL the network communication needed it connected at all the Networking layers. Not a task for most people. I could not do it. The fact that you are stuck here tells me you might be in the same boat I am in.

Something to consider… Enterprise Smart Home Syndrome

all the devices are on the same VLAN - wirless vlan and it works
only the ha is disconnected while i have another VM debian 13 that works fine on the same vlan
so what to do now?

hello? somone helpp
