HA hangs randomly - how to find the cause?

I hope I found the right category …

I have HA running on a RasbberryPi 5 with this case, an NVMe drive (HAOS installed to the disk, not an SD) and this Zigbee module.

Everything’s running fine, but now and then the HA isn’t reachable - no WebUI, no access via Android app, no ping reply from the Raspberry.
Sometimes it recovers spontaneously, sometimes I have to start it again.

Where should I look to find the cause for this? I’d really have it running smoothly 24/7 …

Check the logs for errors and warnings.

Just wondering what the resonant length of some of the conductors/PCB wiring traces carrying disk data is in relation to wireless signals in very close proximity, both at 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz wavelengths? For the X1001 as well as Raspi Hat versions, and possibly others, commonly found in Argon cases. Maybe this entire issue is just a simple case of poor RF design and shielding for the SSD connections and HATs being swamped by WiFi, right there, millimetres away, corrupting the disk data, and the di…

Sadly it is a hardware design limitation, and frantic use of rosary beads may not help.
