HA is not loading correctly, missing integration icons

For at least two weeks now, when I start HA the “Wrapping up startup” message shown below does not disappear on it’s own, I have to click “Dismiss”. After upgrading to core-2026.4.1, I still have the hung message, plus the icons are missing from my integrations. Note the icons reappear if I refresh the browser pressing Ctrl-Shift-R. I don’t see any errors in the logs, just a few warnings. And there are not outstanding “Repairs” pending.

Maybe I should try to resolve all of the warnings? I’m not sure how to go about that.

Please use the search function before creating new topics. Your question was already asked (and answered) here.

Hopefully the fix will include the missing integration icons.

I’m also experiencing those missing icons lately, yes. Refresh brings them back, but it’s annoying.

Missing icons seem to be a browser cache issue if hard refresh brings them back.

There were changes made to the source of the icons in last month’s 2026.3 release IIRC. I suggest you have a look at existing frontend issues & creating your own if one doesn’t already exist.

I didn’t see that this issue was reported so I created the following:

All integration icons missing as of version 2026.4.1 · Issue #167724 · home-assistant/core

That’s because you were looking in core for a frontend issue. The issue you created will (probably) be closed for this reason.

Had a quick look at frontend issues & found this one already exists. Give it a thumbs up so you’ll be notified of any progress.

I can confirm a similar issue that may have started with core 2026.3.X (I haven’t updated to the latest version yet). The problem only occurs in the iOS app. I can’t comment on the integration icons because I rarely visit those pages, but standard icons used for things like badges sometimes disappear. The problem occurs rarely, for example, when I open the main dashboard/view and then switch to another view - the icons are gone, just empty spaces. A simple refresh (pressing the page and swiping down) always helps.
