I wanted to use less cloud services and decided to revert to local offline music storage indexed by Music Assistent.
I did not like the AI/Smart playlist tools so I had Claude make my own.
It reads the Music Assistant library with my local tracks, can identify some ‘moods’ but also listens to custom prompts.
From Home Assistant, after setting it up, it is used by selecting a mood/promt, a speaker and pressing play.
Can be installed via HACS/Custom repository
