Ha/nabucasa onlinecheck integration

I currently have a online check on my home assistant to ping 8.8.8.8 and switch to offline mode. In online mode i use nabu casa and google AI and loads of home made scripts and automations.
In offline i use local wyoming and ollama (a automation that listents to question {prompt} ) that is to slow for ha control.

Last weekend it failed. (For me) nabu casa went down for almost an hour. (Since i detected it)
And because the system was still online it did not switch to the wyoming failover system.

I think usage of local services is the strength of home assistant but the shear ondemand power Internet services bring.

I think nabu casa is lacking a integration to check if the services are connecting where you can build automations on.

So i think adding that is a good start. So we can create automations to use wyoming when we cant reach nabu casa.

Home Assistant Cloud remote UI creates this sensor you can use to determine if it is connected or not:
