I’ve got 2 Cync products. A smart light bulb w/motion sensor and a single pole light switch. Both work just fine with Alexa and the Cync app. But I cannot for the life of me get HA to see the light switch. It finds the light switch w/o problem. When I pull up the properties of the light switch (even though it is setup and connected to wifi) it says it is connected via bluetooth to my Cync smart lightbulb. I’ve deleted and re-added the light twice. It does the same thing, put the wifi info in. It says everything is wonderful and functions great. But HA just doesn’t see it. I open the light switch properties and it’s connected via bluetooth.
I’d really rather not get another hub for deivces. I bought several switches with plans to use them but I’m hesitant because I don’t know if they’ll show in HA.
Short of deleting both devices and starting over from scratch with the light switch being added first, I don’t know what else to do.
