Yesterday I received the 2025.12.4 update. It seemed to work OK yesterday, but this morning HA does not show the Front End anymore it is stuck on loading. It does not work on mobile phone or Laptop. Using InPrivate the front page still asks for the login credentials, but it is stuck after that.
I downgraded the core to 2025.12.3 and rebooted, but no luck. The automations within HA are still working OK. Is there any way to get back in the frontend? Or to reset the Front End? What are the correct steps to troubleshoot this? I already tried to start the core in Safe Mode but that didn’t work.
Tried several things; nothing seems to work. Also tried a core rebuild. Luckely I run the HA OS as a VM on my Synology and I create a snapshot daily. Restored a version of two days ago and I was able to get back into it and everything seems to start.
After that I also updated the Core version back to the latest version; rebooted the host, everything still seems to work. I don’t know what could have happened that it was so broken… Hopefully it doesn’t happen again; but still I do not have clue how to troubleshoot that frontend.
