Hi all… I recently purchased a Home assistant green. I was adding a few xigbee devices last night and noticed that HA was also showing 4 matter devices by their names that could be added. I selected to add one at a time and the QR cade was accepted and the screen showed the device was being added. Couple minutes later HA said device couldn’t be added. Im a little confused as to why HA could find matter devices but couldn’t add them. Please help me to understand.
Devices are on separate vlan from HA?

You did it wrong?
Would need to see logs or other useful details to know what is happening.
If the devices are paired with another Matter system, then you need a pairing code from that system in order to add them to HA.
The original code on the device can only be used to pair it with the first system after a factory reset.
I rebooted HA and they all appeared. Thanks for the response.
When you say factory reset are you referring to long pressing the pairing button?
That depends on the device.
Read the manual. 
Interesting… as Matter devices don’t just show up, they have to at least be connected to a Thread or WiFi network. Can you be more specific about these devices?
