This looks great. I am very curious but also depending on the price.

Hi

Would be very interested to get more documentations about it  how it works ? price ? as we have some customers that would be very interested by something like that

Thanks

Vincèn

@Sones thanks for the details but you don’t have any retailer prices ? As an integrator I would prefer to have integrator prices
Also it states it integrates natively with HA but how ? Do you install the HA companion app on it ? as I see it runs Android ? And what version of Android ?
Thanks

Hi ,Integrate HA through HACS method
we have another version for integrator

oki so first marketing lie as it’s not native integration that would be with the Companion app…
Does it mean also that the Android in it is not able to run properly the Companion app ?

What are differences for the integrator version ?

Hi,
We cannot directly use the official Companion app on our remote control
Installing the official app directly on the remote control will be very difficult to use
You can understand that we have developed a new Companion app ourselves
Adapt to the usage habits of the remote control, match the functions of the small screen and physical buttons. For example, control app TV , use the physical buttons is better than touch screen.
We obtained various integrations on HA and then redesigned the interface layout and linked physical buttons ourselves

Vincen, please stop being belligerent.

They have a third party integration, available via HACS, that enables their device to be integrated with Home Assistant.

Just like other universal remotes, e.g. Unfolded Circle.

Thanks for clarification but how does it work then ? Does it mean I have to do a specific layout on the remote itself ? or in the specific app you are running in the device ?
Do you have a documentation about it ? as I can’t find anything on your website regarding use with HA. Do you have a link to the HACS repo for it ?

Hi Tom

Sorry I’m not belligerent but just trying to find out how exactly the device is working out of all the marketing promises  and sorry but for me a device that needs an add-on to be used with HA is not a native device…

Vincèn

It does not need an add-on. It uses an integration to connect with Home Assistant. Just like every other supported universal remote. None of them run the companion app. They all have their own interface GUI and OS. Do some research, have a look at Unfolded Circle, Harmony, etc…

You can view specific usage videos, music, App tv, Lighting, curtains, air conditioning, scenes, etc. can all be controlled

First impressions based purely on the FB video above.

PROS: Extremely stylish and sleek, both at a hardware and software level.

CONS: You need to slap a gyroscope on that thing, or at least have the screen turn on immediately as soon as it’s removed from the dock. Having to press a button to turn on the screen will kill the experience for most users.

Eh maybe. My universal remote wakes up in its dock with a beep every time I put something on the coffee table.

Yes, Astrion has a gyroscope, and when you pick up it, the screen lights up

I have seen it now on IFA and tested it. Very nice. But it is not possible to buy it on your webpage. Your PayPal API is not working? I just sent you an e-mail

Paypal not working for me either. I received an email from Sanytron that Paypal was “unexpectedly disabled”. This makes me nervous.
