So I got an email update from sanytron yesterday. They could still be a scam. But at least they are now responsive again. They said the remotes are in final stages and will be shipped end of the month.
And yes I did the not so smart thing of paying to the PayPal link. And if all turns out to be fake I will consider that to be my own fault.
I look forward to seeing the results. I actually would love this remote. I missed my Unfolded Circle remote slot. They sent an email to purchase from my pre order slot, missed it by months.
I got a notification from this company after choosing not to pay via PayPal and they have some more payment options on their website now. I bought one using Apple Pay via a credit card. Hopefully that gives me some level of protection if this turns out to be a scam 
Strange. Gpay is available too, but that only protects your payment method, it is not “buyer protection” like PayPal. How is it that a credible company can’t get PayPal up and running for payment after all this time.
It looks like they’re taking direct credit card payments now, so normal cc payment protections should apply I think - e.g. section 75 in the UK. I don’t see anything at all on github for sanytron or astrion though, so it does make you worry about how or if this is real.

They also have these iRemotes which I have seen on Aliexpress.
I have sent them an email requesting a user manual and a link to their supposed Home Assistant Native integration which I cannot seem to find.
As a confirmation to sending this email I get the following response. I reckon their address is as fake as their product. “3575 Fake Buena Vista Avenue” with an example.com email address.
The whole thing is very strange. I can make mind my up about whether I think it’s a scam. A HA specific remote seems to be a really unlikely niche to target with a scam, but they’re so unprofessional it’s really hard to work out. The $149 price seems almost to good to be true, and not helped by the $30 shipping, which seems extreme.
I can’t imagine they would have that many customers they they could not at least respond to enquiries.

I was able to pick up a couple iRemotes for cheap off ebay but found them to be a little too wide to be ergonomic. My spouse has fairly large hands and even he find it to be uncomfortable to use
Other than the size, how was the quality? What did you think of them?
@jah2212 Was it the Android ones you got? If so how do they handle dashboard specifically designed for the screen size?
Well message via WhatsApp from the supplier today.
He reckons order will be shipping on 15th Nov, even though I believe this will be a slightly later date.
He did send a video of what looked like a working GUI that was turning lights on and off. (Which I can’t upload)
I am convinced enough that I dropped my money today via PayPal. The hardware is going to have some limitations but it seems functional enough.

I agree that it’s worth a punt at this point - because there are so few other options if nothing else. I’m still using my old Pronto 9400’s which are really showing their age. The way I’ve got these working is actually kinda similar to the Astrion - everything is just done through using the HA API - I’ve removed any control logic from the prontos over time.
I use a Logitech Harmony Elite. Only other option is the Unfolded Circle Remotes which are expensive an almost impossible to get. I missed my last reservation slot (which was sent via email)
Yes, the only other one I’ve seen is Cantata Smart Remote a Smart solution for Your Smart home, but also expensive and setup looks odd.
