Yes I am looking forward to it as well. I would assume (from discussion with the manufacturer) one of these models will be based on the iRemote that runs Android12, which is available on their website for other systems currently. There comment was āNot running yet on the iRemoteā
I am interested to test how their RosCard setup works and how that looks like on the remote.
My main concern is the balance between flexibility and useability with their card approach. For example, Iāll want to define a numeric keypad screen for the TV remote, which I guess will need a cardā¦ Might need to brush up my very limited .js

Looking at the app (Ros) you can define a universal remote in HA and add it to the remote. Iāll let you know if Iām right when I get mine!

I am sure we will be able to write our own cards but there may be firmware updates required by the manufacturer to support.
I just ordered an Astrion remote as a hail Mary to replace my existing Pixel4a phone running Universal remote cards.
If the developers are smart and maintain the HACS integration, theyāll have a popular product on their hands. Pending real world tests for performance and user ergonomics.

I got mine yesterday but canāt power it up (battery is charged)
Stupid me - thereās an on/off button on the side of the remote (as well as an on/off key)
Working well now and good build quality

Iām finding a problem linking to a https HA instance. They are looking into it and hope to resolve this week. Just keeps telling me it failed to authorise, check address/ token correct. Both are except the discovered instance shows as a http address and not a https even though I set it to https when entering the details.
I hope it can be resolved quickly.

Do you have a self-signed cert on your instance or āofficialā CA issued?
Remote received today. Hardware feels firm. Going to tinker with it tonight.

@Sones I connected the remote to HA. Installed the HACS card. Created A dashboard with some ROS cards. And nothing shows up in the remote.
The manual er very unclear about how it needs to be set up. What do I need to do to make the cards show up in the remote?
