HA & Shelly Flakiness

HA needs a lot of restarts and almost everytime one of my Shelly switches drops out in HA, often need to reboot the switch via the Shelly app afterwards or restart again.

Any solutions or just part of the journey?

The Shelly core integration (I’m assuming you’re using it and not some custom one) is stable and maintains connections with devices very well. I suspect you might be experiencing a WiFi stability issue. It’s hard to say more without any diagnostic data.

Thanks that’s helpful, sorry but not really to sure where to start with the logs do you know which logs I should be getting and how best to share.

Enable debug logging for Shelly integration, restart HA, wait 20 minutes, disable debug logging and attach here a log file.
