I could swear at some point the home assistant voice PE + sendspin supported each other. (on beta firmware)
But I noticed the other day, that neither of my VPE devices show up as sendspin players.
I do have them as HA mediaplayers, and other devices are showing sendspin.
I checked both the player and provider settings, and did not see anything to (re) enable SS.
Am I crazy? Did VPE support sendspin? If so what happened, where did it go, how do get it going again?
If you read the release notes for MA you would know that the players are now combined to help declutter the MA UI.
I know they are combined but as you can see in my screenshot, there is no sendspin protocol listed under the VPE
Did you ever get anywhere on this? I'm trying to set up so that I can stream spotify to my Voice PE via Music Assistant. I've make sendspin the preferred protocol. Did you have to flash your Voice PE with an alpa firmware? TIA
Nope still have the VPE's using HA media player, no send spin protocol indicated in the MA players for these devices. I'm running whatever the beta firmware (the beta slider in the vpe device setting).
This is the firmware for VPE and sendspin, once installed it should provide sendspin players.
