I had a hard time finding a strix halo compatible setup for running piper/whisper locally. Since AMD’s Strix Halo chips are relatively new and require a brand new version of ROCm (7.1.1+ ideally) these were few and far between.
So I put together a few Dockerfile’s and a high level docker-compose.yml to get you up and running with piper and whisper on your new Strix Halo chip with a simple docker compose up -d command!
