I have an HA Yellow that supports thread & zigbee out of the box, I would like to add the ZBT-2 but this only supports either zigbee or thread. How can I add this to improve my Zigbee and still keep thread. I use ZHA for my Zigbee.
The combo Threads/Zigbee support for the Yellow was VERY experimental and abandoned due to stability issues. You really shouldn’t use it. If you turn off the Threads and set the driver back to just use Zigbee, your Zigbee will get substantially better.
If you want both Zigbee and Threads, you can do is dedicate the internal radio to Threads and then get the ZBT-2 and use that for Zigbee.
