HACS 2.0.5 can no longer choose version on integration upgrades

Sorry if I put this in the wrong board, please move if necessary

Just updated HA , HAOS HACS and everything for the first time in a year (worked to good I assume)

But one of the integrations, Huawei Solar, just have a 2.0.0a9 EXPERIMENTAL ALPHA RELEASE to upgrade my 1.20b1 from.

When I check there is a stable version 1.6. In the earlier version of HACS I could choose what version to upgrade to but that seems like I am not able to do this anymore.

Or have I misconfigured the new HACS?

How can I install the 1.6 version of Huawei Solar in HACS ?

Can you post a screenshot for a popup which is shown when you select “download” button?

Does the ‘. . .’ menu give you options? If you find ‘redownload’ that pop-up lets you choose a different version.

Only shows this:

You’re somehow on the pre-release branches - the “b” in your version indicates you’re currently running a beta.

Do you remember switching to the pre-release branch in the past? If so, maybe there’s some way you could switch back to the stable branch.

EDIT: You need to redownload the repository from HACS and select the version there. Using the HACS dashboard - HACS

Yes you are correct.
HACS didn’t show up in the menu so I accessed it under Device and Services and went that way. There you can’t choose version but you can if you go with the menu on the left (that appeared after two reboots .)
