HACS doesn’t show up in HA

HA not showing up in HA. Here is my path.

Settings
Devices and services
Add integrarion
HACS
Checked four check boxes
Select authorize
Waiting on device authorization xxxx-xxxx
Github activation
Congratulations, your all set.
Your device is now connected.
Go back to HA and get waiting for device activationand screen is just spinning anyway d spinning
Nothing in HA about HACS in settings/ Devices/services
Cleared cache
Stikk nothing in
Never get to the assign HACS because HACS isn’t listed under integrations.
It guy for 40 years. Any assistanc would be appreciated.

We had a similar case in a german forum the other day !

In the end the guy solved it by using another browser and using the icgonito mode of that browser (I believe it was Chrome?) for the installation.

So please don’t ask why and how and where - I know it sounds crazy - but nothing to lose right ? :slight_smile:

You may need to clear the cache of the browser. If using Chrome, hit f12 to bring up the developer window, then right click the refresh icon at the top, a drop-down window will appear, select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”.

I’d phrase it “refresh icon in the address bar top left” to indicate that the reader’s focus is to change from the developer panel.

I had a similar problem installing HACS. After many clear cache, restart HA, etc. HACS appeared in list of integrations. Pretty annoying.
