NeN Energy for Home Assistant

Unofficial integration for NeN (nen.it), Italian gas and electricity provider.

What it adds

Two devices (Electricity, Gas) with sensors:

  • Consumption year-to-date (kWh / m³)
  • Last day consumption (electricity) / last month (gas)
  • Annual cap (electricity)
  • Monthly rate (€)
  • Unit price (€/kWh or €/m³)

Requirements

  • Active NeN subscription (electricity and/or gas)
  • NeN account credentials (email + password)

Notes

  • NeN’s API is unofficial and undocumented — may break without notice
  • Il Robo integration not yet supported (no access to test it — PRs welcome)
  • Polling every 6 hours

  • Monthly rate (€) seems incorrect for me (regarding the next point: it’s incorrect for either apartment current or historical data)
  • also I am not sure which apartment is shown: I moved and nen never removed my old property from the app (although I don’t have a contract there anymore), in theory I’d expect this integration should show me “electricity apartment 1” and “electricity apartment 2” , which it doesnt

Thank you for putting this together tho, it’s a great idea, thoroughly appreciate it!

I haven’t been able to test multiple apartments because I only have a single contract with them. However, pull requests are actually very welcome!

you don’t allow the user to choose nor iterate through multiple home_contexts
