Desperately trying to find a solution to my automations not firing at the correct time in my HAOS 6.1/2021.7.2 installation running on ESXi 7.0.1. Before the summer all was working well with outdoor lamps turning on at sunset and turning of at 22:00. As sunset passed later than 22:00 I disabled the automations and tried to switch to Time triggers (on 22:00 and off 23:30) but this never worked.
With sunset now before 22:00 I have tried re-enabling the automations but they all fail as discussed here - Time triggers running randomly
OK, it did work in the spring when I migrated to HAOS with 2021.3.3 / 5.12 deployed as an OVA in our ESXi environment. During the weekend I downloaded and deployed HAOS 5.12 and updated to HA core 2021.7.2. As a test I created a simple ESPHOME device with a relay and connected it to one outdoor lamp. ALL WORKS and the automations are triggered as a clock-work.
Looking further I see that our main installation running 6.1 uses far less CPU resources in ESXi leading me to think that some optimizations in HAOS 6.1 causes my automations to fail. Sure, resource optimizations are good but not for the sake of not working properly.
Is there a way to go back to 5.12-style of resource intensiveness?
Am I right in my assumptions?
Anyway I can help the developers test ESXi deployments?
